Teaching Ideas to Prepare Your Students for the AP Stats Exam

Did you miss the Global Math Department webinar Bob Lochel, Doug Tyson, and I did a couple of weeks ago? Fear not, you can watch the archived video.

Teaching Ideas to Prepare Your Students for the AP Stats Exam specifically outlined questions #1, #5, and #6 (the investigative task) on the 2016 AP Stats exam. The three of us were graders on these respective questions. We went over the questions, outlined the grading rubrics, gave some insider knowledge of how the questions were graded, and presented our teaching tips to help students on problems like these in the future.

Thanks to Jessica Utts, chief reader of the AP Stats exam, who graciously donated her College Board slides for us to use during the webinar. And, of course, a big thanks to host Leigh Nataro as well as Bob and Doug. They are just a few of the many supportive and awesome colleagues I have through the wonderful AP Statistics teaching community.
